Cyclic Olefin Copolymer is an amorphous thermoplastic. COC is used in many everyday applications (bottles, contact lenses, screens, etc.). COC was developed for medical applications. The optical properties of COC are exceptional. It also has good heat resistance. COC’s insensitivity to humidity is often an advantage over PC.
